Two worlds, different routes
The main AR2 map and Reimagined are separate destinations. The anniversary update added the classic map and a mobile-supported way to play it. On the Home screen, the fourth panel is the documented entry to the vanilla map. Check the map first when joining friends: a familiar place name does not mean an old route still works.
Read a loot map with care
A marked location is a place where something may appear, not a promise that the item is waiting there now. Another player may have visited, and random events are not permanent buildings. Use the community map library below to select the relevant map and item layer. Compare its revision with the update log before taking a long detour.
Plan around a useful fallback
Choose a destination for your immediate shortage: ammunition, medicine, food or equipment. Mark a second option before leaving shelter. A short route with a fallback gives you choices if the first area is occupied. Do not judge a destination only by the rarest item listed there. Travel exposure and the supplies you already carry also matter.
Old coordinates need a fresh check
The June 2026 loot rebalance changed many locations, including the Submarine and unmarked Soviet Cave. Treat an Alpha-era screenshot or seasonal route as historical until it is matched to the present map. Exact drop percentages and live server positions are not available here. The linked maps are community references, not a live radar.
